Ellie's Go To Drugstore Makeup Favorites.

Ellie’s Drugstore Makeup Favorites.

Hi guys, it’s Ellie! Today I’m sharing a bit about my everyday makeup routine, which is all about making morning easier with long-lasting, natural-looking products. I’ve never been much of a beauty fanatic but after I started reading a few lifestyle blogs in college, I turned to the idea of stocking my makeup bag with trusted drugstore products that wouldn’t break my budget. I also love the idea of being able to do my makeup in just a few minutes every morning and having it last all day, so I look for lightweight products that never need to be reapplied. Here are a few of my favorites right now:

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer (in Light to Neutral)

This has been my go-to foundation for over a year and I’m still obsessed. I’ve trusted in Neutrogena products to keep my acne-prone skin under control for years, which is part of the reason I love this light-coverage formula. I apply a light layer with a brush and then use a makeup sponge to add L’Oreal True Match Concealer in Warm to any tricky areas, like under my eyes. Even though both feel very light-weight on my skin, they each last all day without getting oily.

L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara (in Carbon Black)

This mascara is my favorite product in my makeup bag! I love accentuating my eyes, and this is the perfect mascara for a bold everyday look with long, thick lashes. For a more dramatic look, I add a few extra coats and pair it with a super thin line of Maybelline’s Master Precise Eyeliner, which makes lashes appear thicker. Best of all, it never clumps, which gives every lash its own definition and volume.

L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer (in Blonde)

This brow pencil is a serious game changer for those that love a dramatic brow and don’t want to spend a fortune to get it. It perfectly adds both definition and shape to even the lightest brows.

Revlon Blush (in Melon-Drama)

As someone with naturally red cheeks, I tend to go with soft blushes that add just a touch of extra warmth to my face. This one from Revlon does the trick so well! It blends easily into my skin and doesn’t fade throughout the day.

Pixi Mattelustre Lipstick (in Honey Bare)

I’ve just started to experiment with adding lipstick to my everyday look, and lately I’m loving this matte shade. Adding color to my lips — even in a muted tone — makes me feel so much more pulled together. I can’t wait to try some of the other shades in this line!
