Happy (unofficially) summer! Memorial Day weekend was SO good but I’m still a bit shocked that it’s nearly June, which may be directly related to this whole San Francisco summer thing we’ve got going on… aka it’s COLD. May was a pretty good month with travel for the first time since January (which is crazy!) + a visit from my best friend. Bring on June!

Some highlights from my May:

Spending time with family in Phoenix that I haven’t seen in ages and soaking up the desert warmth
Busting out the white denim with a classic combo of chambray + red lipstick
Filling the apartment with bright and cheery blooms to counteract the fog
Taking our first trip (and second) to Mr. Holmes for some amazing jelly donuts
A trip back to New Jersey for my sister’s graduation (and taylor ham, obviously)
Getting back in the saddle, literally, with a ride on my former trainer’s new horse
Driving the country roads listening to high school favorites

Celebrating two years with my very favorite guy

Soaking in a rare moment of San Francisco sunshine on my way home
Spending the afternoon in Muir Woods with a quick trip to Stinson Beach
