WHERE DID OCTOBER GO?! Seriously. It feels like Labor Day was last weekend and yet fall is zooming by and we’re already on the cusp of the holiday season (confession: I have already started my Christmas shopping). I ended up traveling every single week this month for work which was great for my frequent flier miles, not so good for my sanity – I just want to soak up some Chicago autumn while it’s still around!

Although the month was a chaotic one, some highlights include:

A delicious dinner party with Danielle & Weight Watchers at Centered Chef
Finally finishing my removable wallpaper statement wall, complete with golden deer head
Spending the week in sunny Santa Monica, one of my all-time favorite places

Cheering on Chicago Marathon runners & spectating the race for the first time
