This little one is turning five today. It’s totally crazy to me – I can so clearly remember that day I stumbled upon her on PetFinder. I was in college and I had no real plans to get a dog, but something in me just knew. I couldn’t shake it. There was something so special about this pup. 

And there was. After almost five years together, she’s made such a huge impact on my life – she’s been there right alongside me through college graduation, my first job, my first apartment, breakups, an 800-mile move out to Chicago. I look forward to being greeted by her every single day when I get home. She’s my absolute best friend.

Happy birthday, Callie girl. I can’t wait for every day that’s ahead of us.
