September was yet another month that was full of fun – from weekend trips to events galore. Fall weather has kicked in here in Chicago and let me tell you, it’s glorious. I’m feeling more and more okay about summer being over as I’m able to break out the sweaters and booties but still skip the coat. There really is just something about fall that brings out the best of everything – the cooler, crisp air is both relaxing and refreshing and don’t even get me started about pumpkin flavored everything (yes, please).

Some highlights from September:

Traded in last year’s running shoes for a pair of fresh marathon kicks

Introduced B to the east coast (and diners, obviously)

Got all dressed up for a date night, NYC style

Ate my way through the city during a quick overnight stay

Is there anything better than your man in a custom suit? No, no there is not

Attended my first “friend wedding” & celebrated Zach and Juliann

Soaked up some fresh hair and relaxed at home with the family

Received some his & hers pretties from Art.com to style up

Things officially felt like fall with booties, a favorite sweater and a dirty pumpkin chai

Stopped by the Warby Parker Class Trip to check out that amazing bus of theirs

Picked up some lovely baubles at Bauble Bar’s Chicago pop up shop

Tackled the big twenty mile training run (and crushed it)

Finally got myself some new glasses

Hosted a party with Poshmark with an amazing turnout & support from friends

Officially received my number for this year’s marathon – #20147
Starting the weekend off right with a trip to Glazed & Infused
