eco-friendlier.

Oh man, the California lifestyle has already hit me. Within our first day of being here I immediately noticed the big focus on being eco-friendly – first it was the goodie bag of all-natural cleaning products in our new apartment’s welcome kit. Then it was the scowl I received when mentioning I needed a shopping bag when picking up some essentials at Target. And the signs in restrooms reminding hand washers that paper towels = trees. People are serious about minimizing their impact on the environment out here (much more than I had ever experienced on the east coast or in Chicago!) and I was quick to pay attention and adapt some of my own behaviors to be a little eco-friendlier.

And while I’m likely to not start composting any time soon (although my apartment building has a special “compost” trash chute!), I wanted to share a few of my recent eco-friendly favorites in case you’re looking for some simple ways to be a little nicer to our Mother Earth:

A Few Ways to be Eco-Friendlier.

CamelBak Relay Filter (c/o) // Baggu Vinyl Totes // Method Dishwasher Tabs

Are you a big fan of eco-friendly products? What are some of your favorites for around the house? How long do you think it’ll take for me to start drinking green juice and eating kale? ;)
