Time-Saving-Apps

I’m sure we can all agree that it would be nice to have more time. Think of all the projects we could pursue! All of the extra workouts we could squeeze in! The Pinterest projects we’d actually bring to life! The list goes on and on and while unfortunately, I haven’t yet figured out how to actually make a day last more than 24-hours, I have discovered some pretty amazing apps that can save you some serious time.

Time-Saving-Apps

  • Uber // There is nothing worse than when there are no cabs to be found and you desperately need to get somewhere. If you aren’t already obsessed, download Uber today (even if you’re not a city dweller, at some point you’ll need it. I promise). Uber saves you the time and hassle of hailing a cab and even eliminates the need to swipe at the end of the ride.
  • Yoga Studio // The idea of working out can be daunting but Yoga Studio brings you all of the benefits of yoga but with some serious convenience. You can choose what you’d like to focus on, how much time you have to spend and even your level of yogi you are, and in a few swipes, you have a custom yoga class with an instructor on your phone walking you through the poses just as you would in class.
  • ZocDoc // Finding a doctor + scheduling an appointment can be a total pain, but ZocDoc has totally changed that for me. Through the app you’re able to look up doctors that accept your insurance easily and schedule appointments (and even fill out forms in advance!) in a snap. You’re also able to easily access the contact information of your medical team and track past appointment dates.
  • Feedly // This app makes keeping up with blog reading a breeze – you’re able to add all of the blogs you’d like to follow and scroll through a feed of latest posts and bookmark posts you’d like to save for later (or leave comments on once you’re back at a computer). Feedly has made it SO much easier for me to read all of the blogs that I love since I can easily scroll through them daily during moments of down time.
  • Postmates // Wish you could get that delivered? From Starbucks to your favorite restaurant, Postmates makes that possible. Think of it as Uber for delivery service – you place an order and a Postmate will accept the delivery + bring you whatever you had requested. You can even track their location and no payment is necessary once they arrive, it’s all handled in the app!
  • Amazon // Sign up for Prime. It’s worth every penny, I promise. And once you’ve done that, take full advantage of it and it’ll reduce your time spent running errands. Running low on toilet paper? Out of shampoo or one of your makeup staples? Order it on Prime instead of running to the store. The Amazon app is one of the best eCommerce apps out there and having access to Prime at all times will help you stay on top of your shopping list.

Do you have any favorite time saving apps that help you get shit done? Any technology tricks you’ve learned that have been serious time savers?
