It’s seriously hard to believe that Christmas is less than two weeks away (whaaaat?!) and that I’ll be heading back to New Jersey next week to spend the holidays with my family. While I’m typically obsessed with the holidays, I’ll admit my Christmas spirit has been a little low this year for some reason – I haven’t had my usual Christmas music on repeat and I’m even skipping out on a tree this year since I’ve been traveling so much.
In an effort to up my festive feelings, I tagged along with a friend to shop for a tree and got decked out in my holiday best for the occasion. Regardless of the weather here in California, I’m still an east coast girl at heart which means I automatically think layers and knits once December rolls around. Another winter favorite? A pair of UGG boots! I’ve been an UGG boot and slipper girl for as long as I can remember – my very first pair was a Christmas gift back in high school and I FREAKED out when I opened the box and basically haven’t taken ’em off my feet ever since.
