My trip to Stockholm & Copenhagen this past winter was full of inspiration on the interior design front – from the hotels I stayed in to the cafes and boutiques, the gorgeous minimalist design that Scandinavia known for could be seen everywhere. I found myself wandering through countless design stores, wishing I could ship everything back to the States and start fresh with their clean lines, neutral palettes with bold pops of color and quirky storage solutions.
I’ve never been a minimalist (you’ve seen my obsession with gallery walls, guys) but even over 6 months after my trip, I’m still finding myself inspired by minimalist Scandinavian spaces and appreciating the beauty that can be in crisp whites and a less is more styling mentality. While I’m in the process of finishing up decorating at my new apartment, I wanted to share a few minimalist spaces I’ve spotted that I’m turning to for inspiration:
