Headed to Tulum!

Tulum Bound.

I’ll officially be in Mexico in 10 days! As a little belated birthday celebration I’m meeting my best friend Sam in Mexico for a little warm weather getaway to Tulum and I am SO excited (like counting down the hours excited). I haven’t taken many tropical, warm weather vacations (Hawaii last year was my first) and have never been to Mexico so I’m looking forward to soaking up a little sunshine, eating as many tacos as possible and spending the majority of the trip with a margarita in hand.

I’ve been on the hunt for some warm weather wardrobe updates (San Francisco weather never needs it!) and wanted to share a few finds in case you’re also headed on a little spring break:

  • Loving that scalloped swimsuit and basically everything else!

  • Gillian Kent

we had such a good time in Tulum although we hardly left the resort except for SCUBA. I highly recommend snorkeling in Akumel.

Oh how I wish I could join you on this trip lol It looks so beautiful! Have fun!

  • Tulum is pure paradise! Have a blast, fun outfit picks!

  • You know I love Tulum. My family has been 5x in 5 years. The last time we were there (last June) the best meal we had was at Simple, which was new to us and I never hear anyone talk about. You kind of have to go to Hartwood and Posada is excellent (we literally ordered the entire menu the last time we ate there and it was all delicious — the sea water poached fish is my favorite).

And however much bug spray you pack? Pack more. I’d also recommend taking a Benadryl itch stick.

Also ask your driver to stop at a convenience store at the way. Stock up on water, snacks, and booze. The first few times we visited Tulum there were no convenience stores by the resorts, though now there is one.

  • These bathing suits are all so cute!!!!
