We’ve reached that point of year where it becomes dress season, whether the weather likes it or not. San Francisco’s weather has been unpredictable as always (we seem to have settled back into the 60’s after a heat wave a few weeks ago!) and judging by Snapchats from friends in Chicago and New York, it seems to be a common thread across the country in April. But let’s dress for the weather we want, not necessarily the weather we have, shall we?

I’ve been making the most of any warm weather we get by swapping out my sweaters for easy dresses that are perfect for strolling around the city. When my sister visited SF recently I threw on this easy Gap dress and flat sandals from Old Navy for a day of exploring the city. The flowy silhouette of the dress makes it the perfect companion for a day of eating while my favorite Rebecca Minkoff cross-body bag kept things hands free (which was especially important when we found ourselves riding the cable cars!).
