Is there anything better than being home for the holidays?! We arrived back in New Jersey bright and early on Wednesday morning and while it’s the warmest weather we’ve ever had for Christmas, I’m not exactly complaining (I was convinced I was going to freeze to death during our trip to NJ & Chicago! California has made me such a softie). We’re spending the day today baking cookies with my mom and celebrating Christmas here tonight before doing it all over again tomorrow at my dad’s.

To keep my packing simple this year I’ve stuck to the neutrals including lots of cozy pieces like this oversized sweater I recently grabbed from… Abercrombie & Fitch. I worked at the store for years during high school and the beginning of college so it felt like the ultimate throwback to shop there again and I’ve gotta say, they’ve got some real gems!

These Johnston & Murphy boots have also become my favorite pair of shoes as of late – they’ve got some cool vibes to them while also just being so easy. Nothing beats a flat, pull on boot! I’ve been wearing them with everything from dresses to jeans and knew they’d be perfect pair of shoes to bring along for our trip – they’re so comfortable!
