As the weather warms up, our calendars tend to fill up with get-togethers with friends and events to attend. I think we’re all determined to make the most of the summer and typically this results in a jam-packed calendar. Knowing that time is ultra-valuable in the summer months I’ve been looking for ways to eliminate wasted time, whether it be time spent worrying about what to wear or running around the city for last-minute errands. One secret I’ve discovered for keeping things stress free? Being prepared with a signature summertime style and having a few go-to gifts on hand because you never know what event will pop up!
Whether it be an invite to a last minute BBQ or a birthday party that you might have forgotten about, it’s always good to have a few gifts stashed away that everyone’s sure to love. Some of my favorites include a few bottles of bubbly, a cute mug or a candle but let’s be real here… the card is what makes gift giving awesome! I recently discovered Hallmark Signature while grabbing a card at my nearby Hallmark store and was instantly obsessed. They’re all full of fun, unexpected details that you wouldn’t see on your typical card making them really unique and special.
When I was invited to a last minute birthday BBQ recently I instantly grabbed the Hallmark Signature popsicle card because of its fun pop of color and because nothing says summertime quite like a popsicle. The front of the card is a bright neon acrylic and there’s an actual popsicle stick involved! I knew my friend would love it and that it would really stand out among your typical cards (plus, I think it would be adorable in a frame afterward! Instant art!)
I decided to run with the summer theme I had going with the card and turned to my signature summer style to make choosing my outfit quick and easy. With a little white dress and a comfortable low wedge I felt both festive and comfortable and didn’t have to waste a ton of time in my closet (which meant more time eating all of the food at the BBQ!) And a bonus? How cute does the dress look with this Hallmark Signature card?! They’re a perfect pair.
