Next Saturday, Callie will be officially hitting the skies as we tackle our first flight ever and head back to New Jersey for the holidays. We’ve been practicing our whole travel bag routine and I think after lots of treats and a very grumpy dog, we’ve gotten the whole going in without a fight and not freaking out thing down. As we embark on this first journey by sky together, does anyone have any advice for me? She’ll be in a carry on bag under the seat but it’s a bit of a tight squeeze since she’s at the top of the weight / size limit threshold and I want to make sure it all goes as smoothly as possible (additional holiday stress not needed). 

Have you ever flown with a pet? Any secret tips you’ve got to share? Am I totally crazy for doing this? Any advice to help ease my mind?
