There are some Pinterest pins that you just can’t get out of your head. These Peanut Butter Oreo Blondies were an instant obsession – I needed to make them immediately. Good news? They’re just as delicious as they look.
Here are the details:
Ingredients:
- 2/3 c. softened butter
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. peanut butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. cream
- 16-24 Oreo cookies (depending on pan size)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees, butter baking pan (9×9″ for thicker bars, 9×13″ for thinner bars)
- Cream butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, peanut butter and vanilla. Add eggs and beat well until mixed
- Add flour and baking powder and mix just until all flour is incorperated. Slowly add cream and mix – batter should be thick but spreadable.
- Spread half of the batter in the pan, layer in Oreos, top with remaining batter
- Bake 35-50 minutes until edges start to brown
