this little place.

Airbnb offered to send out a photographer to shoot some photos of my little studio for my listing (I rent the apartment out when I’m traveling) and I must say, I’m thrilled with how this place has come together.

I’ll admit, I was less than thrilled when I first toured this apartment.  After seeing two other larger apartments (on low floors with views of the parking garage, yuck), everything about this studio just seemed so small.  How would I live without a pantry & linen closet?  Where would my gazillion kitchen items go?  What would I do without an additional storage space?  It was all very overwhelming and I wasn’t sold on the idea of living in a studio, nor was I able to picture how everything would work within one open space.

Only after sitting down with some good old graph paper and exchanging several texts with Sara (who toured the place with me & had to convince me that this was an awesome apartment), I decided to take the plunge.  It’s been quite the shift living in a studio but seeing these photos has me more in love with this space than any other I’ve lived in.  This little place reflects who I am and where I am in my life just perfectly – she may be a small space, but she’s just right for me.
