The holiday season is finally here and I could not be more excited! Inspired by Cait’s recent post, I made a list of everyone on my gifting list in an effort to get organized before I started shopping. As always, I’m trying to keep things budget-friendly, so I have my eye on this book for my dad, a perfume discovery set for my mom, the cookbook of the season for a family gift exchange, and these super cozy scarves for my girlfriends. I love giving a few small gifts to each person on my list and…

Is it too soon to ask, ‘Where on earth did this year go?!’ It’s unbelievable to me that we’re nearing the end of fall already. This time of year always reminds me of the Halloween nights my brothers and I spent with ski jackets over our costumes, and the endless hours we’d spend outside in the early days of winter when snow was still a novelty. Living in a place without seasons for the first time has been quite an adjustment, but even in SF, I’ve lately found myself reaching for heavier jackets in the…
By now you know that jeans and t-shirts are practically a uniform for Cait and me, which means fall is our time to shine as we make the switch from summery tees to cozy sweaters. As always, keeping things budget-friendly is my priority and lately I’ve found some great pieces from Madewell, Everlane,…
This month, I moved into what I'm calling my first 'real' post-grad apartment. It's a tiny studio here in San Francisco with built in bookshelves, bare walls and the most affordable, space-saving IKEA furniture I could find. Now that the essentials are in, this print is at the top of my list as it's basically my motto, and I'm also looking at this throw and pillow combination for the couch. I've had so much fun laying out and decorating my own space, so I've gathered a few of my favorite finds (along with plenty that…
Summer always seems to be the season when I hit my fitness stride. With longer days and more free time, I find it so much easier to get myself to classes. Lately I’ve been loving CorePower Yoga (their Yoga Sculpt classes are so intense!), and I’ve been trying to get back into a running groove. Plus, cute workout gear always makes a little easier to motivate myself to get moving. I’ve found tons of long-lasting, affordable pieces from Old Navy, Gap and Aerie, but I’ve heard amazing things about Zella and Outdoor Voices, among other…
