black and white bohemian.

When I think bohemian, I tend to think super casual – looks that are perfect for the weekend or a casual day in the office, but it’s never really a style that I’d consider “dressy”. When Sudara sent over a pair of pants from their latest collection, I wanted to challenge myself a bit with a look that could be worn out to dinner or even to the office with a blazer layered over. To dial down the bohemian vibes and bold pattern of the pants I wanted to keep the rest of the look neutral – black and white is always a classic look and with a clutch and some gold accessories, I managed to still have all of the perks of the flowy bohemian look (helloooo, comfortable pants!) but with  a bit more polish than how I’d typically style ’em.

Also, can we talk about Sudara for a sec? Besides being one of the most comfortable items in my closet, each piece is made with hope by women in India who have escaped human trafficking. When you purchase one of Sudara‘s pieces, you’re not only adding an amazing piece to your wardrobe, but also investing in the freedom and dignity of these women and girls who are working to forge a new life for themselves and their children. Pretty amazing, right?!

Are you into the bohemian look? Anyone else think that pants that feel like pajamas are the best pants of ’em all?
