 Dressing for the first day at a new job is always a bit stressful. It’s not just about what to wear but a matter of figuring out what everyone else in the office wears. You’re at risk of over dressing and sticking out like an obvious new kid, or even worse, under dressing and looking like you’re not taking your new role serious enough.

The look above is an upgraded variation of what I wore for my first day on Tuesday – a mix of the classics with a few pops of personality and color to give ’em a taste for who you are. I’m loving the color of that Tory Burch tote and may need to scope it out to see if it’s laptop friendly as a possible work wardrobe addition of my own.
