Cream Turtleneck & Camel Coat.
Anyone else in a mood lately where you just want to get rid of everything in your closet and start over? Maybe it’s the new year or the big personal news or just the fact that I’m moving next month so I’ve got purging on the brain but I’m feeling very over everything in my closet and craving all things neutral. Gone are my usual yearnings for color and pattern and instead I’m wanting to cozy up in classic sweaters and my usual boots + jeans combination.
This cream cableknit turtleneck from J. Crew arrived on my doorstep right before the holidays and was one of the most worn items in my suitcase when I was in New Jersey and Europe. There’s something so classic and crisp about a cream sweater in my book and I always love the cozy feel of a good turtleneck. It feels polished while being oh so easy to throw on with a pair of dark denim and over the knee or ankle boots.
Also, can we talk about this jacket? I’ve had it for a year now but realized that it somehow has yet to appear on the blog even though I wear it on heavy rotation in real life. It’s from Abercombie & Fitch, guys! And I snatched it up on heavy sale last year at under $100 – it’s just so good. The faux fur trim on the hood is removable and it’s machine washable and looks way fancier than it actually is. Abercrombie has been killing it in the outerwear department (my favorite camo jacket is also from there) – I swear, a comeback is approaching.

I have a few outfits left that were shot before the holidays – don’t mind the bling here ;)
